Grammy Awards 2011

The recording industry's most prestigious award, the GRAMMY, to recognize outstanding achievement in the music industry.

Eva Longoria gets flirty in a ruffled minidress with a dramatic collar by Ashi, which she pairs with big drop earrings and satin platform pumps. The odd proportions of the look work against her.

The intricate detailing on Ciara's top is interesting, but the ultra-high slit on the too-thin skirt is a little weird, in this daring Emilio Pucci blue patterned dress, drop earrings and bold sandals.

Miley Cyrus tries to prowl the carpet in this Roberto Cavalli gown is just drab and ill-fitting.  Fortunately, she had all that hair—and it was actually brushed—to protect against any wardrobe malfunctions.

When all the other big artists are trying to outcrazy each other on the red carpet, Jennifer Hudson stands out in a soft, flowy navy-blue Versace mullet dress with sparkly silver straps. J. Hud's sleek, straight hair matches her sleek new figure, too.

Jennifer Lopez, the new American Idol host is all sparkle, all the time in a glittering, long-sleeved Emilio Pucci minidress. The diva rocks some fab spiked Louboutins with the itty-bittiest mini possible so nobody can miss out on the fabulosity of her gams or her girls.

The Florence and the Machine frontwoman, Florence Welch literally swans down the carpet in an elegant Givenchy Haute Couture gown with sheer winged sleeves – and an unexpected bold red back. Though swans do bring up the vision of Bjork and her swan gown.

Among the eggs, leopards, and golds, it was exciting to see Keri's blue asymmetrical strapless dress. Blue and silver minidress is sexy and its futuristic silhouette is striking. And can we discuss that hair and make up? Flawless.

The Glee star, Lea Michele (co-nominated with the whole cast) shows a whole lot of leg in her ruffled black Emilio Pucci dress with lace cutout detail and thigh-high slit, which she pairs with platform Christian Louboutin pumps and berry lips.

Rihanna in her off-the-shoulder Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture mermaid gown, which alternates ruffles with sheer panels (Reminded me a bit of white garland). Ri-Ri,  it's hard to keep topping yourself on the red carpet, but for the love of fashion, put on some clothes—nobody wants to get that good a look at the vadge on the red carpet!

Jordin Sparks loved her Zang Toi red strapless glamour gown with a sweeping train. She is wearing way too much dress; there's an excess of fabric around her hips. Removing that additional long skirt would be a much needed improvement.

Nicki Minaj was feeling fierce in this head-to-toe animal-print Givenchy spotted dress with a Gagaesque/Bride of Frankenstein hair. Minaj described the dress, made specially for her, as "lioness meets her cub meet fierce-ocity, meets fabulocity meets runway, meets everything. But this is proof positive of how not to wear a trend from head to toe

Supporting Grammy nominee hubby Keith Urban, Nicole Kidman struck a pose in a straight-from-the-runway Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture petal-print gown. She completely rocks this stunning floral mermaid gown and gorgeous locks for her hubby's show.

Kelly Osbourne chose a sweetly spring-is-in-the-air lilac chiffon one shoulder dress with lavender sash from, by Tadashi Shoji.

Did Red Bull give Katy Perry wings? Who knows? All I know is she wore them on the red carpet along with this glittery bra-meets-sarong look, by Giorgio Armani. She also brought her grandmother to the Grammy's, which was so sweet that it compensated for the fact that Perry seemed prepared to fly back to her own, private, ample-chested heaven at any moment.

Sure to be one of the more covered up attendees at the Grammy's. Monica took a risk with the angular shoulders, looks almost too formal in her full-length black gown.. A bit reminiscent of Eva Longoria's look at the Golden Globes.

Miranda Lambert, Grammy nominee and performer shows off her sleek figure in a curve-hugging, one-shouldered Edition by Georges Chakra gunmetal gown, while the double one-shoulder strap is fun, the foil-like appearance and bunched fit of the dress isn't working.

The singer Jewel, who's expecting a boy, dresses her bump in a soft lemon Pamella Roland dress, which she accents with pink chandelier earrings and a floral Daniel Swarovski clutch.

Gram'ma Funk besides slinging sarsaparilla at Miss Kitty's old-time saloon and creating a miniature movie-theater curtain that would lift and separate around her legs while simultaneously announcing "ta-da"? Or was she preoccupied with the science of oxygen deprivation on nipples? I’m not sure who let Gram'ma out in this ill fitting mess but they are not her friend. Its a shame since she has great legs and shoes to die for but the rest of the ensemble was poorly styled.

Natasha Bedingfield riffed on silver screen glam with a blue beaded chiffon gown, Stephen Webster jewels and platinum finger waves. The waves a little to harsh and the dress a bit like wedgewood china.

Supermodel Heidi Klum shows off her famously phenomenal figure in a cut-to-there, sequined Julien McDonald gown, accented with python-print Christian Louboutin platform pumps

The One and Only: Lady Gaga
